Photos I have taken on our European Tour This is a photo I took of a small creek winding under an over pass to merge with the Donau. This creek is close to the town of Neutraubling Germany. I took this photo on our walk up to Walhalla Monument.
The next few photos I took during our visit up to the Walhalla Monument This is a photo of the trial that leads up to Walhalla Monument.
This is a photo of the Donau from between two gigantic pillars at Walhalla Monument. This is a front view of Walhalla Monument.
This is a back view of Walhalla Monument.
This is a photo I took of what's left of the Lupburg Castle, Germany.
This is a photo I took just inside the Medieval Town of Rothenberg, Germany. This whole town is walled in for protection and has a walking path at the top of the wall with lookout holes.
This is a photo I took of the Hotel Reichskuchenmeister in Rothenburg Germany. Isn't the natural decoration on the building exquisite?
This is a photo I took in a quaint town call Straubing, Germany. What a fantastic place to shop, eat or just soak in all the beauty.
This is another photo I took in Straubing of a beautiful shop call Rosmitha Fazboden. Look at the top window, isn't the reflection fantastic?
Yet another photo in Straubing of the Hotel Seethaler. This building is absolutely breathtaking. The colors are amazing and the reflection from across the street even matches the buildings color scheme. Wow, was all I could say when we saw this building.
Is this not a most impressive building. It is just inside the city limits of Straubing Germany. As we were walking toward the beautiful shopping area shown above, I had to stop. My husband is a most patient man and never complains when I say stop... I need this picture.
I took this photo while on a three country adventure with my sister, her daughter and my daughter. This photo was taken from the half way point up the Eiffel Tower. What an amazing view, and not one appreciated nearly as much until you have actual been to the top looking out over the entire city. Believe me, I sent messages from my cell phone to friends and family just to let them know that I was having cappuccino from the top of the Eiffel Tower. What a great moment.
This is a housing area in Amsterdam Nederland. The creek that runs just in front of the houses is used to fish and boat. Most houses had small docks at the creeks edge.
This is a photo that I did not take but it is an object that you see often in Europe. They all vary slightly but nonetheless they are exquisite works. Marterl Hohenfels
